The term serigraphy describes the print of art-graphict in screen printing. Serigraphies are made themselves by the artist or printed in close cooperation between a screen printery and the artist. Screen printing was used already in the twenties of the 20th century for the artistic graphic reproduction in the USA, it spread primarily in Europe as of the fifties.
